Women Walking Free: Unwrapping the Beauty of Your Identity in Christ
September 30th, 2017
Freedom is a word with many connotations, but what does God mean in Galatians 5:1 when He says "it is for freedom that Christ has set us free?" If you are a child of God, you have been given life-changing freedom through Jesus Christ from the chains of guilt, anxiety, hurt, depression, rejection and more. However, the day-to-day trials and difficulties of life seem to creep in, distract us from God's truth and bind us to carry those burdens for the rest of our life. All of us desperately need the freedom Christ gives! After all, He came that we may have life, and have it to the full (John 10:10)!
If you need to walk away from something and become completely free, please join us at Wellspring Church as Set Free Ministries presents "Women Walking Free: Unwrapping the Beauty of Your Identity in Christ." We will enjoy a special day of incredible testimony and precious conversations sharing Christ's love and encouragement with each other. Rediscover your true identity in Jesus: That you are His beloved child. Walk in His freedom.

Trunk N Treat Trunk Hosts
October 28th, 2017
TRUNK N TREAT GUIDELINES | Saturday, October 28, 2016 | 4 to 6 pm
Trunk-N-Treat is an event where volunteers decorate the trunks of their car or truck beds with a theme and bring candy to pass out. We will be inviting Wellspring family and friends as well as community members. This is a rain or shine event so dress and plan accordingly.
It is our goal to provide a fun, safe, enjoyable experience for all who attend. In order to do this, we have created a list of things to know for trunk entries:
Trunk volunteers should decorate their trunk with a fun theme. The more inventive, the more the children (of all ages) will enjoy it! Some of the best trunk designs include their owners in a coordinating costume.
Trunk decorations should NOT be scary or evil in nature. We are hoping to cater to young children, so please aim for fun, lighthearted décor. Avoid vampires, devils, blood and gore, etc.
We will be providing extension cords and generators so you can plan to use electricity in the design of your trunk.
All trunks must arrive to church no earlier than 2:30pm and no later than 3:30pm – we will allow the families to start visiting trunks right away at 4:00pm.
Upon arrival you will be directed to a parking spot – if you want to be next to someone specific, please arrive together.
We will shut things down at 6:00pm, your trunk is not able to leave its parking spot before then, please plan accordingly.
Trunk owners should bring their own candy or treats and bowl or container. Make the treats last and hand out one piece per person. Wellspring volunteers will be checking throughout the night to see if you have run out and can provide more candy.
Trash tends to run rampant during TNT, if you spot some, please grab it. You are responsible for cleaning up the space around your vehicle.
At the close of the event, judges will award a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize.
If you’re having difficulty thinking of trunk decorating ideas, try googling “trunk-or-treat” and you’ll find TONS of pics!
The Wellspring Trunk-N-Treat is great fun for our families and it is always a great opportunity to connect with people in our community. If you have any questions about hosting a trunk or want to volunteer in another way, please contact Laura VanSlyke through Facebook, at 616.635.3250 or email@example.com.
